Teenager Accused In Drug Overdose Case To Be Charged In Adult Court
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Two teens appeared in court in Rock County, facing charges in connection to the overdose death of a friend.
A 14-year-old Edgerton girl arrested on charges of first-degree reckless homicide will be charged as an adult and will appear in court Thursday, according to the Janesville Gazette.
The girl is accused of stealing the prescription pain killer oxycodone and providing it to two 13-year-old boys.
One of those boys, Alex Aiken, of the Town of Milton, died Feb. 9 after taking the medication.
