Massive 31 car pile up blocks Highway 41 near Kaukauna.   13 people were sent to the hospital.  Nobody killed.

Blame the fog.  (Not the people of course)

Cleanup of U.S. 41 crashes under way in Outagamie County just north of State 55 near Appleton

KAUKAUNA — Thirteen people were hospitalized, all with minor injuries, in a series of crashes on U.S. 41 northbound between Little Chute and Kaukauna that involved 38 cars in a fog-laden morning commute.

The first set of crashes, involving 31 vehicles occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. today, starting just north of the State 55 interchange at the Maloney Road overpass.

The second set of crashes, involving seven vehicles, took place about a mile south on 41 near County CC.
