Too Much Time Spent On Jeff Wood?
Once again… another governemnt committee fails to do ANYTHING because of what sound like 4th grade playground excuses. “You didn’t show up!”… “You didn’t ask me to!”.
Ethics Committee Delays Action Against Wood
MADISON, Wis. — A special ethics committee considering a resolution to expel a state lawmaker charged three times with driving under the influence has adjourned without taking any action.
Committee members said that they are upset that state Rep. Steve Nass, R-Whitewater, didn’t show up to testify on his resolution to expel Rep. Jeff Wood.
Committee chair Rep. Mary Hubler said she won’t allow a vote the plan or others to censure or reprimand Wood until Nass shows up to take questions. She said Wood and his attorney should be able to cross-examine him.
Nass aide Mike Mikalsen said his boss was in his district during the hearing and didn’t testify because he has concerns about the process. He said Democrats on the committee are trying to delay so Wood can stay in the Legislature.

Wisconsin does not have the time and money in order to kick this guy out. Plus, this is democracy. If the people mess up and elect a total loser for their representative, well that's their decision, and they have to deal with it. Like Bush.
